Languages are our passion…

Languages help us to transcend geographical, cultural and mental borders and obstacles. They create bonds that facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, business ideas and cultural aspects. They are the cornerstone essential for interacting in a globalised society and the bridge that joins the world.

Communication between people from different cultures has become an essential part of everyday life on all levels. Not being able to speak a language cannot act hinder the accomplishment of our professional goals. It has been calculated that there are more than 5,000 languages in use around the world. We do not know how to speak them all, but do have on hand an extensive network of professional collaborators, who allow us to offer linguistic services in any language combination and always with the highest levels of demand in terms of quality, commitment and seriousness.

3Lingua has its offices in the north of Madrid. Nonetheless, as our vocation and outlook inherently overlooks the imposition of borders, we are proud to boast a worldwide presence.
We carry out human produced translations of texts from many different subject areas. We record the human voice (voice-over) for your videos, we offer interpreting services (client escort, consecutive, simultaneous and liaison interpreting) and offer language training courses following the “in-company” model (in-house learning). Our main clients are based in Spain, Switzerland, the United States, Colombia and Latin America. Aside from this, should you need it, we will be glad to provide assessment on cultural aspects so that you can carry out your project.

No client will ever be overlooked nor any word count too small to undertake a project. Although we consider ourselves to be a small company, we provide services to private clients and companies (SME and multinationals).

Dominique Kim

Founder, creative head and project manager

Of Swiss-German origin, he is polyglot by birth (speaking five languages and being able to read a few more) and a “scholar of languages”, a natural-born entrepreneur and businessman. Advisor and coach in matters relating to languages along with international and multicultural relations, he loves to travel around Spain, Switzerland and the stunning “Quindío“ coffee belt in Colombia. He speaks Spanish, English, German (and Swiss German) with a smattering of French. He is avid follower of new technologies and survived 14 years in the telecommunications sector, for five of which he was employed by Microsoft. Personal qualities: driven towards excellence, he reads, sees, hears, smells and perceives all that surrounds him. He is wholly convinced that there is someone greater than us who guides us in how to live our life on this planet.
